# Creating Notification Rules
A notification rule defines when and how a notification appears to visitors.
Creating a New Rule
Navigate to Dashboard > Sites > [Your Site] > NotificationsClick Create RuleFollow the setup wizardTrigger Types

After creating a rule:
Toggle Active to enableRules automatically appear on your published siteTrack performance in the Analytics tab
